Welcome to Consultme.ie. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Consultme.ie website ("Website") and the consultation services ("Services") provided through it. By accessing or using our Website and Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Website or Services.
1. Definitions
Website: Refers to the website available at Consultme.ie.
Service(s): Refers to the consultation services provided through the Website, connecting Users with Consultants for guidance via video call.
User(s): Refers to any individual accessing or using the Website or requesting/receiving Services.
Consultant(s): Refers to the experienced residents of Ireland from our network who provide guidance to Users through the Service.
Guidance: Refers to the general information, personal insights, and experience shared by Consultants on topics such as CV preparation, interview tips, general Irish visa/immigration procedures, Irish income tax basics, and Irish drivers license procedures.
Consultation: Refers to a scheduled video call session between a User and a Consultant.
Pay After Satisfied Model: If the User is satisfied with the Consultation, they have the option to contribute a minimal charge as discussed or indicated by Us. Payment for the Consultation is not mandatory under any circumstance.
We, Us, Our: Refers to the group of Consultme.ie, operating Consultme.ie.
2. The Service
Consultme.ie facilitates connections between Users seeking guidance on certain aspects of Irish life and Consultants who are experienced residents willing to share their knowledge based on personal experience. Our Services include providing a platform for Users to request a Consultation and for Consultants to schedule and conduct video calls.
3. Nature of Guidance and Disclaimer

The Guidance provided through the Website and during Consultations is based solely on the personal experiences, knowledge, and perspectives of our network of Consultants.
The Guidance is intended for informational purposes only and aims to provide general insights and practical tips based on lived experience in Ireland.
THE GUIDANCE PROVIDED IS NOT, AND MUST NOT BE CONSIDERED AS, PROFESSIONAL LEGAL ADVICE, FINANCIAL ADVICE, TAX ADVICE, CAREER COUNSELLING, OR OFFICIAL GUIDANCE FROM ANY GOVERNMENT BODY, REGULATORY AUTHORITY, OR PROFESSIONAL BODY.

4. User Responsibilities

Use the Services and Guidance solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
Engage in respectful and appropriate communication with Consultants and Our team.
Understand and accept the limitations of the Guidance as outlined in Section 3.
Verify any information or guidance received during a Consultation with official sources or qualified professionals before taking action.
Not use the Website or Services for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.
5. Consultation Process
Users submit a request for a Consultation through the Website, outlining their needs.
A Consultant from our network will review the request and, based on their availability and relevance, will reach out to the User to schedule a video call Consultation.
We do not charge any fee for submitting a request or scheduling a Consultation.
Consultations are typically conducted via video call using a platform agreed upon by the Consultant and User.
The duration and specific focus of the Consultation will be discussed and agreed between the User and the Consultant.
6. Pay After Satisfied Model
Following the completion of a Consultation, the User will have the opportunity to assess their satisfaction with the Guidance received.
If the User is satisfied with the Consultation, they have the option to contribute a minimal charge as discussed or indicated by Us. Payment is not mandatory under any circumstance.
Details regarding the minimal charge amount and the available payment methods will be communicated to the User by the consultant.
The User agrees to make the contribution promptly after confirming their satisfaction.
If a User is genuinely not satisfied with the Consultation, they are not obligated to contribute the minimal charge.
This model is based on trust and the User's honest assessment of the value received.
7. Intellectual Property
The content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, and service descriptions, is Our property or the property of our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Website without Our express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, We and Our Consultants shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from: (a) your use of the Website or Services; (b) any Guidance obtained through the Services; (c) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; or (d) unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your data.
In no event shall Our total liability to you for all damages, losses, or causes of action exceed the amount (if any) you have paid Us for the Services in the last six months, or €100, whichever is lower.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website and Services at Our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
